Sato: F1 more exciting without traction control
27 November 2007Super Aguri driver Takuma Sato is looking forward to continue his Formula 1 career with the Super Aguri team he said last week. The Japanese pilot hopes he can continue in F1 as he expects the sport to become more exciting next season when traction control is completely banned.
"The races will be much more exciting," Sato told GPUpdate.net. "The car will spin much easier now and it will be important to be gentle on the throttle every time you come out of a corner. Without the help of computers the driver is completely in control again. The conditions of the car such as the tyres, more or less fuel and rain will affect the car more than it did last year.
"I also expect team strategies to be different and especially races in the rain can become very exciting. The teams that can improve the drivability of the car the most this winter will come out strong next season."
