Timo Glock is looking forward to his four-day test with the Toyota Formula 1 team. The German was released by BMW from his contract in order to be able to join Toyota in Jerez to get familiar with the car and get well prepared for the 2008 season, his first full season in Formula One as a race driver.
Speaking about his upcoming test with the Cologne based team Glock told F1.com: "I am very excited to be driving a Toyota for the first time at Jerez. I am looking forward to getting to know the team and the car.
The German still has to get to know most people at Toyota. "I have only met some organisational people at Toyota, but as soon as possible I want to spend a lot of time at the factory, to meet the engineers and mechanics - and the whole team," he said. "I haven't met Jarno yet but I will do soon. He has a lot of experience, he is really quick and I think we will work well together to bring the team forward."
