Asmer excited for BMW test

Estonian F1 hopeful Marko Asmer says he is excited for his chance to become BMW Sauber's test driver and he will have a day and a half at the wheel this week to show the team what he can do.

"It's a privilege to get an opportunity to test for a top team and I want to thank Dr Theissen and the team as I really appreciate it," Asmer told Autosport. "Jerez is a new circuit for me, but I've heard it's really fun to drive."

"I've already met some of the BMW Sauber team and they are really thorough with their preparations so I'm feeling ready and comfortable," he added.
