Red Bull's David Coulthard believes double world champion Fernando Alonso might as well take a one-year break next season and still return as a contender for the F1 title the year after. The Spaniard is still without a team for next season.
"I don't think it would really be a problem for him to take a year out," Coulthard said. "Alain Prost was the last driver to do that. He took a year out of F1 and came back and won the world championship," added the Scot. If you can get yourself into one of the best two cars, then of course you've got a great chance of winning the championship."
