Hamilton wins BRDC award

Lewis Hamilton was awarded with four BRDC awards. The McLaren driver was awarded by the British Racing Drivers' Club (BRDC) with a Gold Star award, presented to him by Sir Stirling Moss.

On a day when the best in motorsport was celebrated by the BRDC, Hamilton received a standing ovation as he entered the Lancaster Ballroom after arriving from a sponsor's engagement in Oxford Street. Once on stage , he spoke openly about his 2007 debut Grand Prix season, his hopes for next year, and his enthusiasm for being a Member of the British Racing Drivers' Club.
