Vettel finishes on top in final day of action

Scuderia Toro Rosso driver Sebastian Vettel was the fastest driver on track in the final day of action of the year. In Jerez the young German completed his fastest lap in 1.18.213 with slick tyres. Michael Schumacher ended fourth, but with the 2009 aero package and slicks.

Friday was the fourth day of testing and the last day of testing this year. Out of the eleven teams that started on Tuesday in Jerez there were nine teams left on Friday. McLaren and Renault scheduled only three days of testing.

At BMW Marko Asmer completed a full day of testing with the team. He drove a total of 80 laps alongside BMW Sauber F1 driver Robert Kubica. At Force India Giedo van der Garde and Roldan Rodriguez were in the car. The duo ended at the bottom of the timesheets but did not complete any laps on slicks.
