The inaugural Singapore Grand Prix will officially start at 8pm local time. The confirmation came from race organisers who are preparing for Formula One's first ever night race.
Successful tests of lighting systems and crucial emergency lighting back-ups have been successful and will take place on 28 September 2007.
The 8pm local time start means the race will begin at 12pm UK time and 1pm CET.
