After being dumped by Scuderia Toro Rosso, Tonio Liuzzi is looking for Force India to remain a race driver in F1 next season. The Italian was strong in testing at Jerez with the team, despite a small problem with his back and seating position in the car.
"There can still be a lot improved on the car, but the team is very professional and organised, so I think they will improve quickly, once they settle down in 2008," Liuzzi told GPUpdate.net "There are a lot of little problems, which cost lots of time on the track, but can be solved quite easily. Next year you will see a different Force India."
"It's now up to Dr Mallya, but I think I've showed that I'm a strong and quick driver," he added. "I think we worked nicely with the team and improved. I have competition from a couple of very experienced drivers, so it's not going to be easy. Unfortunately we had a slight problem with my back, but I'm not complaining. It's part of the game."
