Schumacher: Vettel can win the F1 championship one day

Michael Schumacher believes Sebastian Vettel has all that it takes to win the Formula One world championship one day. In Sunday's Race of Champions both Schumacher and Vettel formed a pair for Team Germany and won the Nations Cup.

"Sebastian has shown he has the talent," Schumacher told German newspaper Bild. "He entered Formula 1 at the right time and at the right place I think. He has shown things with that car that no one has shown before. There is a bright future ahead of him. He has the potential to win the F1 championship one day."

According to Scuderia Toro Rosso team boss Gerhard Berger it was Michael Schumacher that discovered the 20-year-old Vettel.
