
BMW is determined to clinch its first F1 Grand Prix victory as a works team in the upcoming season, team principal Mario Theissen has confirmed.
"For 2008 we've set ourselves the target of closing the gap to the leading teams, in addition we intend to score our first Grand Prix victory," Theissen said.
BMW will unveil its 2008 car on 14 January in Munich, a day before it makes its track debut in testing at Valencia.
