Michael Schumacher has said his first impression of Ferrari's F2008 was very positive. The German, who finished his F1 career as active driver at the end of the 2006 season, will be the Italian team's advisor for another season.
Kimi Raikkonen was the first driver to shake down the all-new Ferrari. At Ferrari's home track Fiorano in the Italian town Maranello the reigning world champion completed 55 laps.

Speaking about Ferrari's shakedown at Fiorano Schumacher said: "As always, the shake-down of the new Ferrari was a special moment. The first impression was very good - the car is beautiful and seems to be fast from looking at it. Let's see if the first impression will be confirmed during the season."
