De la Rosa debuts MP4-23 on track

McLaren's test driver Pedro de la Rosa was the first to put the team's all-new MP4-23 through its paces. At Jerez the Spaniard completed the first couple of laps on Tuesday morning without any problems.

McLaren's MP4-23 was introduced to the invited media in the Mercedes-Benz museum in Stuttgart on Monday. The team's new car should join the fight once again for the championship title. "We are looking forward to another competitive season as we look to build on the momentum of last year," Ron Dennis said.
