Head wants more pace from new Williams

Williams co-owner and engineering director Patrick Head says he wants to get a lot more pace out of the new FW30, despite it showing surprising pace during the car's debut test at Valencia this week.

"The car is better and faster than last year's," Head told Autosport. "But there is still a good gap between Ferrari and us so we have a lot of work to do."

"We will be developing the car a lot before the first race in Melbourne, but I doubt we'll be sitting on the front row of the grid there. I hope we're reasonably close up there though," he added.
