Mosley says Hamilton will be champion

FIA president Max Mosley says Lewis Hamilton will definitely become F1 champion sooner or later and he could even go on to beat Michael Schumacher's record seven drivers' titles.

"Lewis will get plenty of goes at the title," Mosley said. "Unless something goes dramatically wrong, he'll win several world championships. If he races for as long as Michael Schumacher did, then he may very well beat his record."

Hamilton is preparing for his second F1 season after narrowly missing out on the title in a very heated and political 2007 campaign.

"My advice to him would be to put the money in the bank and don't worry about the politics," Mosley added. "As long as he keeps driving quickly he'll be ok."
