New BMW is easier to steer - Heidfeld

Nick Heidfeld has shrugged off concerns that the new BMW may not be on the pace of Ferrari, McLaren and even Renault claiming instead that the new car is much easier to steer and handle and that the team is now unlocking the pace in testing.

"We can steer the car much more accurately now," said Heidfeld. "It is still too early to be able to say where we stand. We don't know the car well enough yet. There is still so much to do before season starts in Melbourne, so it is impossible to make any predictions."
