Williams F1 driver Nico Rosberg was Tuesday's quickest driver at Circuit de Catalunya. The German completed 73 laps at the Spanish track and was well ahead of anyone else on the first out of a three-day test at the track near Barcelona.

Formula 1 teams continued testing on Tuesday. Four teams travelled to Barcelona for a three-day test. The only team though completing a proper day of testing on Tuesday was the Williams F1 team. The team's drivers Nico Rosberg and Kazuki Nakajima completed 73 and 96 laps respectively.

Red Bull's Mark Webber and David Coulthard ended third and fifth at the end of the day completing 26 and 22 laps. At Renault the team completed only a few laps with its drivers Alonso and Piquet. The Spaniard completed 16 laps while the Brazilian had completed just 8 laps on Tuesday.
