McLaren lead the way on Tuesday

Lewis Hamilton was once again the fastest man at Circuit de Catalunya. The Briton completed, just like yesterday, the fastest lap of the day. He clocked his fastest time at 1.21.234, two tenths of a second faster than his team-mate Heikki Kovalainen.

Tuesday was the second out of a three-day test in Barcelona. It is the final week of testing before the teams head to Melbourne for the opening race of the 2008 Formula 1 season. Williams F1 showed its pace with Rosberg setting the fourth fastest time of the day. Meanwhile Force India F1 continued to surprise the paddock. While the team was often found at the back of the grid in 2007, Fisichella was once again well in the top ten as the Italian set the 6th fastest time of the day.

Sebastian Vettel switched teams today. The German replaced David Coulthard as the Scotsman suffered from a neck injury. Vettel's fastest time in the RB4 was almost one second faster than Mark Webber's fastest time.
