Toyota found itself hampered yb continued poor weather conditions at Barcelona on Monday which prevented the team from making any progress all morning. The team is hopeful of better conditions today as it tries to work through a large list of preparations for Melbourne.
"We really regret not testing in Spa over these past two weeks because the weather in Belgium has been much better than it's been here in Spain," said Pascal Vasselon, General Manager Chassis at Toyota. "Monday started in conditions that are very difficult for testing because the track was constantly changing through the morning and it's very difficult to do comparisons. So we waited until the beginning of the afternoon to start work on mechanical set-up, which we tried to refine on both cars in preparation for aerodynamics testing tomorrow. The forecast is better for Tuesday so we are hopeful of a dry day."
