Theissen: BMW not ready to win... yet

BMW Sauber team boss Mario Theissen doesn't expect the team to win its first race in the first part of the season. According to the German the team is simply not ready to win just yet. The team's target is still to claim its first victory this season, but BMW Sauber fans shouldn't expect a race win already in the opening rounds of the season.

"Our target is to continue on the steep slope we had in the past two years and to get closer to the two top teams and win a race this year," Theissen told reporters in Australia. "And if you ask me about that, I would say we are not there yet. I don't expect us to be in a position to win a race early on in the season but we still have the target to get there in the course of the season."
