Webber warns of renewed Alonso-Hamilton fight

Red Bull Racing driver Mark Webber says the battle between Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton could actually intensify and become more bitter in 2008, despite the fact the duo no longer drive for the same team.

"It could actually get a lot worse in terms of the battle on track because the gloves are off," Webber said. "Fernando can take the fight to Lewis and there's friction there already which could make it fascinating."

"Fernando would love to have beaten both McLarens by the end of the year bit he knows it won't be possible in his first year back at Renault. "He's not saying he doesn't care about doing that, he's just being realistic."
