Ecclestone pushing for Chinese Grand Prix at night

25 March 2008

After talking to the organizers of the Australian and Malaysian Grand Prix Bernie Ecclestone is now also keen to host the Formula 1 race in China and South Korea at night. The South Korean Grand Prix is expecting to organize its first race in 2010.

"We'll speak to the people in China, see what we can do there,'' said Ecclestone about a possible night Grand Prix in China. "Obviously when we race in South Korea, it will be good to have a night race there too."

Last weekend the organizers of the Malaysian Grand Prix announced it will try to have a night race as early as 2009.
