Former Ferrari F1 boss Jean Todt has vowed to help his successor, Stefano Domenicali in any way he can. Todt stood down as the team principal at the end of last year and last week stood down as CEO of Ferrari.
"It would be presumptuous to say advice," Todt told Autosport after being asked if he was helping Domenicali. "But we are talking about the tensions and the pressure, so to have somebody you trust and like, and share emotions and doubts and problems with is a help."
"Sometimes, the tendency of people retiring is to criticise and say you shouldn't have done that," he added. "That's not my style - I want to support them and help as much as they need."
Todt was in Malaysia with Ferrari but is being linked with a possible move to succeed Max Mosley as FIA president.
