Former Formula 1 driver Mika Hakkinen believes the Formula 1 drivers don't need a special test to try the Singapore street circuit at night. The double F1 championship does say as long as the lightning systems do their job safety will be just fine.
"If the lighting system and all the organisation is at a top, top level, I don't think testing is necessary," Hakkinen was quoted by our colleagues at autosport.com. "When driving at night your body is in night mode, so all your reactions are not as sharp as in the daytime, because your body should be sleeping."
