Rosberg fastest in final free practice

Nico Rosberg continued his strong performance in Bahrain during Saturday morning's final free practice session. The Williams driver was two tenths of a second ahead of Felipe Massa and Mark Webber. Lewis Hamilton seemed to focus on his race set-up, the Briton ended 18th.

In Sakhir the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend continued on Saturday morning with a one-hour free practice session in temperatures as high as 28 degrees Celsius. As soon as the lights turned green most drivers excited the pitlane for an installation run.

Nico Rosberg topped the time sheets for most of the session. The German Williams driver topped the time sheets after thirty minutes until Felipe Massa came out for his first flying lap. The Brazilian improved the day's fastest lap and was ahead of the pack until Rosberg grabbed back top spot with just a few minutes left in the session.

Giancarlo Fisichella showed a promising performance. The Italian ended 12th this morning and will hope to qualify himself in the top 16 for the first time this afternoon.
