Former Formula 1 world champion Jacques Villeneuve will race in the 1000km of Spa-Francorchamps in May this year. The race is the third race on the Le Mans Series calendar.

The Canadian, who is currently racing in the Speedcar Series in Bahrain, will join Team Peugeot Total at Spa for the 1000km's. Villeneuve will join Marc Gene and Nicolas Minassian at Peugeot.
