Newspaper to send Mosley tape to FIA Senate

06 April 2008

The News of the World newspaper has responded to Max Mosley's bringing legal action against it by saying in today's edition that it will send copies of the tape depicting his alleged Nazi orgy with five hookers to the eight members of the FIA Senate who will meet to decide his future.

67-year-old Mosley abandoned plans to travel to Bahrain for this weekend's race amid all the controversy and some of his engagements ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix have also been cancelled, with this matter expected to roll on.

The newspaper said today, "The News of the World wants the members of the powerful FIA Senate to judge for themselves whether the multi-millionaire, 67, should be allowed to carry on as the head of motorsport. So we will send a DVD copy of the sordid five-hour sex session to Senate chief and Monaco lawyer Michel Boeri, who is in charge of the Automobile Club de Monaco, and his seven colleagues."

"Copies will also be available on request to ALL of the 222 national motoring organisations in 130 countries, who Mosley represents," it added.
