Former F1 champion and fierce Mosley critic Jackie Stewart has renewed his calls for the FIA president to stand down after details of his private life were again plastered all over the Sunday tabloids.
"If he was chief executive of the FA or International Olympic Committee, he would have already stood down," Stewart said.
"The sport is vulnerable when it comes to moral issues," he added. "If it's called a 'scandal', that affects F1 as a whole and the perception of it by some cultures and religions."
Stewart now works mainly for Williams sponsor RBS and has concerns that if Mosley remains much longer, it will cause some sponsors to rethink their involvement in F1.
