
The Super Aguri team will no longer be purchased by the Magma Group, the potential purchasers of the team. In a statement the Japanese team said on Wednesday that the investors behind the Magma Group do not wish to fund the intended acquisition.

It is now uncertain whether or not the team will attend the Spanish Grand Prix in two weeks time. In a statement the team said it will now consider the future of the team, but that it will continue to negotiate with other parties.
