Weather hinders Barcelona test

The Formula 1 teams testing at Circuit de Catalunya faced heavy rain on Thursday morning. At 9.30am rain came down keeping the teams and drivers in their pitbox waiting for the track to get better again.

Around lunch time the rain stopped but the track near Barcelona is still very wet and it is likely that most teams will wait for the track to dry before they will be able to continue their test programme.

It will be pretty much impossible for Bridgestone to continue gathering data on slicks as it is unlikely the track will be completely dry before the end of the day.
