Ferrari president plays down Alonso link
23 April 2008Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has played down continued talk of Fernando Alonso moving over to his outfit as a replacement for Felipe Massa.

"To line up a Raikkonen-Alonso double-act would mean wanting to damage yourself. I want two equal drivers that will work together," di Montezemolo told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
Montezemolo added that he would be getting much more involved in running Ferrari again now that he has stepped down form his role as head of Italy's Industrial body.
