Following incidents which occurred during Formula One testing at the Circuit de Catalunya on February 1st and 2nd 2008, which involved fans shouting racial abuse at Lewis Hamilton, the FIA has launched its new anti-racism campaign at the Spanish circuit today.
The FIA has launched the EveryRace campaign. With the support of the Formula One community the launch of the EveryRace campaign is intended to send a message that discrimination and prejudice can have no place in sport or in society.
FIA president Max Mosley was supposed to launch the initiative, but in light of revelations about his private life, he is not attending this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix.
