Massa couldn't get it together

Felipe Massa was disappointed but not dejected after he slipped from setting the early pace in the pole shoot-out, to ending up third on the grid for tomorrow's Spanish Grand Prix.

"I just couldn't put the lap together on the last try," Massa said. "On my first attempt I did make it, but it was a bit too early, so it was a shame. On a very competitive day like today a small mistake and a tenth or two can lose you a couple of positions. But I think it is fine and we should still have a good car for tomorrow."
