Hamilton shocked but still hopeful

Lewis Hamilton looked shocked after he ended up qualifying in fifth place for the Spanish Grand Prix. The McLaren driver had been as high as second, but in the final seconds Kubica, Alonso and Raikkonen all went faster.

"We seemed to be quite quick on a single lap and I'm just shocked and stunned we didn't have the pace on a heavy fuel load," Hamilton said after qualifying.

On whether he would struggle being further back on row three for the start he added, "Starting shouldn't be a problem because you're against all the professional experienced drivers who want to finish. I think our race pace is still good so we should be ok for tomorrow, but I am a bit shocked."
