For Anthony Davidson it was an unpleasant surprise to hear the sad news on Tuesday morning. The Super Aguri F1 team announced its retirement from the sport due to financial difficulties. Davidson though is determined to fight back as F1 is still unfinished business for him.
Speaking about Super Aguri's announcement on Tuesday Davidson told BBC Radio 5 Live: "It was pretty unexpected for everyone to lose this team so early in the year. F1 is a strong sport and teams will come and go but they'll be missed - especially the smaller ones. It's maybe a sign of the times that privateer teams just can't survive now.
"It's a difficult time of year to suffer this bitter blow, but I'll bounce back. I'm fully confident of my ability behind the wheel, and I'm sure things will be better in the future for me. I'll hang on in there. I have to stick to Formula One. That's the priority at the moment and for the future. That's what I have to do, it's what I'm trained to do.
"I really want to concentrate and get a good chance to do it properly. I really feel it's unfinished business for me in Formula One. I feel it's where I belong."
