Ecclestone hits back at Mosley claims

23 May 2008

Bernie Ecclestone has hit back at Max Mosley's claims that he and his financial backers CVC are trying to take over the regulation of Formula One. Mosley claimed that he was battling with the sport's commercial rights holder for control of the sport, as he ramped up efforts to win the upcoming vote of confidence.

Ecclestone has hit back though saying Mosley's claims are potentially 'inaccurate' in a letter he sent to FIA club presidents.

Ecclestone denied that he or his backers want to have control over F1 regulations.
