Rosberg taken to hospital

Williams F1 driver Nico Rosberg was brought to a hospital in Monaco for routine medical checks the team confirmed after the race. Rosberg crashed hard out of Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix. After his crash the German was able to climb out of his car on his own he seemed fine at first.

Speaking about the incident Williams' technical director Sam Michael said: "Nico (Rosberg) had a crash on the entry to the swimming pool. He has been very fast around here all weekend so he will be really frustrated to come away with nothing. He's currently undergoing medical checks. We'll now look forward to a better result in Canada."

Rosberg is expected to race again in Canada.
