Ecclestone expects F1 to be at Magny-Cours next year

According to Formula One surpremo Bernie Ecclestone Formula 1 will travel to Magny-Cours in 2009 again. The Briton has said the track has a contract for another few years and he expects them to keep the race for at least another year.

"We've got a contract here for another couple of years," Ecclestone told Reuters on Sunday morning. "Although the FFSA (French federation) who are the promoters agreed two years ago that 2008 would be the last race, now they are saying 2009 will be the last race but I'm sure its not."

When Ecclestone was asked if he expects to be in Magny-Cours again in 2009 he said: "I'm sure. Book here."We have a contract so we are here. When that contract stops, we'll have to see what we can do."
