Championship leader Robert Kubica played down BMW Sauber's apparent lack of pace in qualifying for the French Grand Prix. Kubica was only seventh fastest, despite winning the last race in Canada.
"In Canada we were helped by track conditions in qualifying, but here we've been struggling a bit and I was expecting a difficult qualifying which it was so we'll see in the race," Kubica said.
"We just don't have enough pace," he added. "In Canada we won because some others made mistakes, but if you look in Monaco before we were six tenths off so maybe the others have improved a bit, but it's racing and we have to analyse it."
