Massa back on top at Silverstone

Felipe Massa was back on top of the F1 field as a major test session kicked off today at Silverstone in preparation for the British Grand Prix. The new championship leader finished 0.3s ahead of McLaren's Heikki Kovalainen. 

It was not all easy for Ferrari, as Massa groud to a halt on track late in the afternoon. Beyond that Kubica was testing major new aerodynamics for BMW and finished third fastest ahead of Toyota test driver Kobayashi.

Rosberg finished fifth ahead of Webber and Nelson Piquet while Jenson Button, Liuzzi and Vettel rounded off the ten drivers in action. Vettel only completed ten laps after a fuel problem on his car in the morning stopped him in his tracks.
