Singapore Grand Prix to build 1,600 extra seats

The organizers of the Singapore Grand Prix announced that it will build a number of extra seats for the first edition of the countries F1 race through the streets of Singapore. A new 1,100-seat grandstand will be placed on the city's Esplanade Drive while a further 500 seats will be added to the Turn Two grandstand.

With the additional seating there are a total of 84,600 seats available in Singapore plus 13,000 corporate hospitality and paddock club seats.
