Vettel still on top in Jerez

Sebastian Vettel continued his strong performance with Scuderia Toro Rosso at Jerez. On Wednesday, the second day of testing, the young German was again the fastest man on track. Vettel completed his fastest lap on slick tyres.

Wednesday was the second out of the four-day test at Jerez. The F1 teams who started testing on Tuesday were joined today by Force India. At Force India Vitantonio Liuzzi completed 102 laps at the Spanish track.

Most Formula 1 teams continued evaluating Bridgestone's slick tyres in Spain. Kimi Raikkonen was one of the few drivers who did not go out on slicks today.
