Trulli: There's more to come!

24 July 2008

Jarno Trulli showed Toyota F1 has been making progress in the last few months by qualifying in top four at Sunday's German Grand Prix. The Italian was obviously pleased with his qualifying performance but just missed out on valuable points. He warns his competitors though; there's more to come!

Heading to Hungary next week Toyota is going to protect its fourth position in the constructors' championship. Toyota is just one points ahead of Red Bull and two points ahead of Renault. Speaking about the team's main priority for Hungary Trulli said: "We are working hard to consolidate fourth place in the Constructors' Championship. We have a test at Jerez this week and we will be concentrating on making the TF108 work in its latest high downforce configuration.

" Everyone in the factory is working really hard to bring new parts to the car as fast as possible and that is why we have been competitive throughout the season. We still have to push really hard to retain fourth place because the fight is very close, but we are determined to do that."

When asked if Trulli expects the team to be competitive in Hungary next week he answered: "I think we should be competitive for the rest of the season; there is no reason why not. We made a lot of improvements already this year and there is more to come. We will be working hard at the test this week and we should be able to fight for points again."
