The F1 paddock observed a three minute silence in Valencia earlier today, to pay respect to the victims of this week's Madrid plane crash in which over 150 people lost their lives.
Local hero Fernando Alonso has been leading the tributes ahead of his home Grand Prix this weekend. The silence was observed in the port area of the Valencia circuit and GP2 organisers delayed the start of their practice session to allow for the tribute.
