Rain could disrupt Valencia weekend

Rain could disrupt this weekend's European Grand Prix at Valencia, with a distinct possibility of rain showers forecast for Saturday afternoon.

The weather today is sunny and dry with with temperatures hovering around 30C/86F.

According to F1 weather forecasters Meteorological Services, Saturday is likely to be affected by a scattering of sharp rain showers, mostly in the afternoon. There is a risk of temporary wet surfaces for qualifying, but perhaps more especially for the first GP2 race, later in the day. Condistions otherwise will be very warm with max temp of 27C/79F.

Sunday will be dry again with settled conditions, mostly sunny with temperatures around 30C/86F.
