Massa escapes with reprimand

Felipe Massa escaped from investigation in the European Grand Prix with just a stern reprimand from stewards looking into his release from his second pit stop when the Ferrari came out side by side in the pit lane with Adrian Sutil's Force India.

Massa has been fined 10,000 Euros, but no penalty has been applied to his race time, as some speculation hinted may be the case. 

The decision from the stewards confirms the race result in which Massa's win took him into second place in the championship, six points behind Lewis Hamilton.
