Sutil didn't see Massa coming

Adrian Sutil found himself at the middle of the biggest controversy of the European Grand Prix weekend at Valencia after he and Felipe Massa had a very close call in the pit lane during the race.

The incident led to Massa being investigated by stewards, but later being given just a reprimand.

"I didn't see him I was driving down the pit lane and suddenly the car was there and I had to go left to avoid him," Sutil said. "Obviously I tried to let him past as soon as I could after the pit lane. Everyone is in such a rush in the pits and we've seen cars side by side in the pits many time."

Massa meanwhile blamed Sutil for not letting him past, as he was already a lapped car.
