Heidfeld on top at Monza

Nick Heidfeld shrugged off reports of pressure to up his game to set the fastest time during testing at Monza on Thursday. The BMW driver finished ahead of Nico Rosberg's Williams.

On another hot and sunny day at the circuit near Milan, Heikki Kovalainen ended up third ahead of another impressive day for Toro Rosso's Sebastian Vettel, who ran only in the morning before being replaced by Bourdais. 

Felipe Massa finished the day fifth, suffering a spin and causing a red flag during the day, but was quick enough to finish ahead of Fernando Alonso, Adrian Sutil, Mark Webber, Jarno Trulli and Jenson Button.

Testing concludes at Monza tomorrow
