Hamilton finishes test on top

Lewis Hamilton finished the final day of testing this week at Monza on op of the time sheets. The championship leader took over at McLaren from team mate Kovalainen to finish fastest.

The British driver finished almost four tenths ahead of Kimi Raikkonen and a surprise third fastest Giancarlo Fisichella in the Force India. 

Kazuki Nakajima finished fourth for Williams ahead of Coulthard and Fernando Alonso. Sebastien Bourdais took over at Toro Rosso and ended up seventh ahead of Toyota's Timo Glock.

Robert Kubica ended up ninth after just 57 laps after going off track in his BMW this morning, sustaining some damage that took until the afternoon to repair.

Jenson Button finished the day tenth and last of all runners today.
