Williams to test Spaniard Clos next week

11 September 2008

The Williams Formula 1 team will be testing alongside the other F1 teams at Jerez next week for a four-day test session. On the first day of testing the team will have F3 driver Dani Clos in the car. The Spaniard will enjoy his Formula One debut with the team.

Speaking about his upcoming test session at Jerez 19-year-old Clos told GPUpdate.net: "I'm really proud to get this opportunity with the Williams F1 team. They've been guiding me this season and I got the chance to test at their simulator in England.

"I can't wait to get in the Williams F1 car next week. It is something every boy dreams about. I hope I can do well and show the team what I am capable of in a Formula one car."

Clos is currently racing in the F3 Euroseries with the Prema Powerteam. At Magny-Cours he scored his first podium finish in Formula three.
