Glock fastest in another wet session
13 September 2008 / Results / PhotosToyota driver Timo Glock completed the fastest lap this morning at Monza. The Toyota driver was the fastest one out on track when the track was still a bit damp. Not much later though the rain would make conditions out on track extremely difficult. There weren't any major incidents though.
Another day at Monza and again a lot of rain. The first free practice session at Monza started the same as it did on Friday morning. The track was still damp but slowly dried as the drivers completed their laps. Soon the rain would start to fall though making it extremely tricky on track.
Many drivers missed the first chicane or spun their car on track due to the poor conditions. In the last 20 minutes of the session most drivers decided not to risk any damage and stay in their safe pitboxes.
